SAT Math is tested in Sections 3 and 4. Section 3 does not allow the use of a calculator, and consists of 20 questions that must be answered within 25 minutes. Of these 20 questions, 15 are multiple choice and 5 are grid-ins, in which you enter your answer in a grid. Section 4 allows a calculator, and consists of 38 questions which must be answered within 55 minutes. This includes 30 multiple choice and 8 grid-ins.
